What's new

The redesign

• A new, cleaner design throughout, in light and dark mode.
• Big files open faster. A new CSV engine reads large files quicker and understands more encodings, including Shift_JIS, GB18030, EUC-KR and the Windows code pages.
• Edit right in the table. Tap a cell twice to type; the row form shows a whole row at once.
• Undo and redo for every edit.
• Better PDF export. Fit tables to the page, pick a preset, and add page numbers and repeated headers. See Export PDF.
• Sort by several columns, set column types. Numbers and dates now sort the way you’d expect. See Sort and Column types.
• Files without a header row. Open them as they are, or turn row 1 into headers. See Files without a header.
• A smarter filter. Build conditions visually or write SQL, with a live row count. See Filter.
• An assistant that shows before it changes. See the matching rows, then apply. See AI assistant.
• Files remember where they came from, and offer the newer version when the original changes.
